Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone AR, getting a overall score of 83 against 77.4. Galaxy Note8's body is somewhat heavier but a little bit thinner than Asus ZenFone AR, and they were released with only a couple months difference. The Galaxy Note8 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Note8 also has 4 more cpu cores.

The Galaxy Note8 features a bit sharper display than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a little bigger display, a just a bit higher screen pixel density and a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Asus ZenFone AR takes just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has worse 24 frames per second video frame rate, a tinier aperture which is not good for low light captures and video and a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a back camera with lot more MP.

Asus ZenFone AR counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Note8's battery lifetime is very similar to the Asus ZenFone AR one.
