The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone AR, with a overall score of 79.8 against 77.4. Even though the Sony Xperia XZ Premium and the Asus ZenFone AR were only released with a couple of months difference, Sony Xperia XZ Premium's design is thinner but also somewhat heavier than the Asus ZenFone AR.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much better looking screen than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 2160 x 3840px resolution and a much higher display density. Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a little faster processor than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores.

Xperia XZ Premium shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a camera with a worse 19 megapixels resolution and a worse video definition, and they both have the same aperture, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a bigger sensor which offers a better image and video quality.
