Comparison review
Xperia Z5 Premium is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone AR, having a score of 79.8 against 77.4. The Xperia Z5 Premium is an older and just a little bit heavier phone than the Asus ZenFone AR, but Sony was able to build it thinner anyway. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit faster CPU than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with more processing cores and an additional graphics processing unit.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much better looking screen than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a lot higher count of pixels per screen inch. Asus ZenFone AR has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal storage.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 4% bigger battery size. Xperia Z5 Premium takes just a bit better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same resolution back facing camera, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has faster video frame rates, a bigger camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos and a larger camera aperture to take better low-light captures and videos.
