Xiaomi Mi 8 is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone AR, getting a score of 83.3 against 77.4. Although the Xiaomi Mi 8 is a bit heavier than Asus ZenFone AR, it's somewhat thinner and also newer. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little bit better screen than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2248 resolution and a just a bit lower screen density, it also counts with a quite bigger screen.
Asus ZenFone AR has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has 4 more cores.
Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity. Asus ZenFone AR takes just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photos, a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality pictures and lower 24 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a camera with lot more MP.
