Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has an overall score of 77.7, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone AR's general score of 77.4. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite construction is thinner and just a little bit lighter than Asus ZenFone AR. The Asus ZenFone AR features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better amount of pixels per inch in the display.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a bit superior CPU than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a larger number of cores (and also faster). Asus ZenFone AR has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a tinier sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Asus ZenFone AR counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Asus ZenFone AR also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features just a little better battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 3350mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
