Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone AR, getting a 77.5 score against 77.4. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's body is somewhat thinner but somewhat heavier than Asus ZenFone AR, and they were only released with a few months difference. Asus ZenFone AR features a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.
Asus ZenFone AR has much more storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Asus ZenFone AR also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
Asus ZenFone AR shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a bigger aperture, a larger back-facing camera sensor and a lot more mega-pixels back camera.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much better battery performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 61% larger battery size.
