Motorola Edge 50 Neo is better than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2), with an 81.9 score against 71.6. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo design is much newer than Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s, but it is a little heavier and a little bit thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 50 Neo has an older 14 version and Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Asus ZenFone Max (M2) features a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a much sharper display than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a much greater amount of pixels per screen inch, a much better resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels and a little larger screen.
Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has a better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Edge 50 Neo counts with a bit longer battery life than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has an 8 percent bigger battery size.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo captures greater videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same camera aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
