Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), having an 82.1 score against 73.1. Even though Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star body is just a bit heavier but a little bit thinner than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels density. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The Galaxy A8 Star features a bit faster processor than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has longer battery life than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy A8 Star has just a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy A8 Star also has higher video frame rate, a way bigger aperture to take better low light captures and a more megapixels camera.
