Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), with a 76.4 score against 73.1. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 5s has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Xiaomi Mi 5s is an older phone than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), but it is just a bit thinner and lighter anyway.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little sharper screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a brighter display and a just a little better screen density. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a little bit better performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), although it has a lower number of cores , they both have a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a very superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features just a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a worse resolution back facing camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited environments.
Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), resigning a couple specifications.
