Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), getting an 84.2 score against 77.4. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the older 14 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's body is newer than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s, but it is a little bit thicker and way heavier.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a better display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little bit inferior pixel amount per screen inch, it also counts with a little bit larger display, way more brightness and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with just a bit bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a much powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a greater camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting images or video in low light situations, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution, a lot larger camera sensor shooting lot better quality photos and a lot higher video quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has just a bit better battery performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
