Asus ROG Phone II is much better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), getting a score of 88 against 77.4. The Asus ROG Phone II is a thicker and a lot heavier device than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2). The Asus ROG Phone II has just a bit better processing power than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone II also has more RAM.
Asus ROG Phone II features a bit sharper display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a bit inferior pixels count in each display inch, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a brighter screen and a bit bigger screen. The Asus ROG Phone II takes greater videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have a F1.8 aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Asus ROG Phone II also has a lot bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, higher 60 fps video frame rate and a back camera with way more mega pixels.
The Asus ROG Phone II has just a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone II has better battery life than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 5000mAh.
