Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is just a bit better than the OnePlus 8, having a score of 77.4 against 76. OnePlus 8 features a bit better display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has a quite bigger screen, way more brightness, a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the display.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features longer battery lifetime than OnePlus 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. OnePlus 8 captures way better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a same size diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has a much bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a camera with lot more mega pixels and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
