OnePlus 8 Review

OnePlus 8 is an impressive device released a couple years ago, in 2020, coming with a high performance 2840 MHz Octa-Core processor, a big size 6.5" screen, a 48 megapixels back camera and a 16 megapixels front side camera. Let's take a deeper look at what this phone can do.

OnePlus decided to design this phone using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SM8250 system chip, packing a very fast 2.84 gigahertz Octa-Core processor with a large 8 GB RAM. An excellent feature of this phone is its big 128 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't come with a slot for external memory cards, it it is more than enough to store lots of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without thinking about filling it.

Being just 0.31" thick,this cellphone is extremely slim and comfortable. This device is only 6.31" long and 2.87 inches wide, but it still manages to hold a 6.5" screen. This phone is only available in glacial green color. This phone is a mix of Glass (Corning Gorilla Glass 5) and Aluminum . Apparently OnePlus forgot about weight optimization in this 6.35 ounces phone.

OnePlus packed this cellphone with an absolutely amazing 6.5-inches screen, and a 1080 x 2400 resolution, providing this device with a unique graphical experience.

This phone features two cameras, a 48 megapixels back facing camera and a 16 megapixels front facing camera. Its back facing camera has a maximum f/1.8 aperture so it can capture sharp photographs even in low lighting situations. It is also able to shoot videos in 4K 3840x2160 at 60 frames per second, and HD 1280x720 slow-motion videos up to 480 fps. In addition, the camera features time lapse video.

The OnePlus 8 has WiFi capability (and it can be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router), 5G cutting edge connectivity, LTE-A 4G ultra fast connectivity and also HSPA+ internet connection (which is a lower speed 4G network) and the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. The OnePlus 8 has two Nano SIM cards so it's able to work with two different phone numbers and even different carriers in the same phone.

This cellphone also includes lots of cool characteristics as Fingerprint Reader, Biometric facial recognition, Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (5.1 ) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The OnePlus 8 features a 4300 mAh long lasting Li - Polymer non-removable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to take into consideration is that the OnePlus 8's battery isn't removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to last shorter, although with its 4300 mAh you will probably buy a new phone before that becomes an issue.

This phone is a little expensive considering it is offerred for $ 330, and many similar cellphones are quite cheaper than that.
