The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a general score of 77.7, which is much better than the BlackBerry Z20's 53.1 overall score. Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2 OS, while BlackBerry Z20 counts with BlackBerry OS. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a much sharper display than BlackBerry Z20, because it has a little bigger screen, a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1440 pixels and more pixels per inch of screen.
The Galaxy S5 features a superior processing unit than BlackBerry Z20, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Galaxy S5 also has a larger number of faster cores and a better GPU running at 500 MHz. The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a much bigger storage to install games and applications than BlackBerry Z20, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots much clearer photos and videos than BlackBerry Z20, because it has a camera in the back with way more MP. The Galaxy S5's battery lifetime is very similar to BlackBerry Z20's battery performance.
The Galaxy S5 costs a bit more than BlackBerry Z20, but you can get a much better phone for that few more dollars.
