The HTC ThunderBolt has a global score of 55.9, which is a little bit better than the BLU Life 8 XL's score of 51.6. Despite being the best cellphone we are comparing here, the HTC ThunderBolt is an extremely older, noticeably thicker and heavier cellphone than the BLU Life 8 XL. The BLU Life 8 XL has a better performing CPU than HTC ThunderBolt, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and 7 more cpu cores.

BLU Life 8 XL has just a bit better looking display than HTC ThunderBolt, because it has a much better 720 x 1280 resolution, a little bit higher display pixels density and a larger screen. BLU Life 8 XL features a slightly better memory capacity for apps and games than HTC ThunderBolt, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory, the BLU Life 8 XL also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB.

BLU Life 8 XL features a much better battery life than HTC ThunderBolt, because it has 2920mAh of battery capacity. The BLU Life 8 XL takes much clearer photos and videos than HTC ThunderBolt, and although they both have a camera with an 8 mega-pixels resolution, the BLU Life 8 XL also has a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.

Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the HTC ThunderBolt is also a lot cheaper, making it a no doubt choice.
