The Galaxy Note9 is much better than the Essential Phone, having a overall score of 87.1 against 66.3. The Galaxy Note9 is a newer phone than the Essential Phone, but it's somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier. Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a little bit better looking display than Essential Phone, because it has a little bit better display pixel density, a bit larger screen and a little higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Essential Phone, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit faster processor than Essential Phone, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Note9 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features longer battery performance than Essential Phone, because it has a 32% more battery capacity. Galaxy Note9 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Essential Phone, because although it has a worse video quality and a camera in the back with a worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality and a much bigger aperture to take better images in low-light environments.
