Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has a score of 85.9, which is better than Fairphone 5's 75.5 overall score. The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition design is a little lighter and somewhat thinner than Fairphone 5, although it was released 3 years before. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has older 10 version and Fairphone 5 has Android 13.
Fairphone 5 counts with a bit better CPU than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition. Both have a 8 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores. The Fairphone 5 has a more vivid screen than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Fairphone 5 also has a slightly higher resolution of 1224 x 2700 and a quite greater pixel density.
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition captures a lot better photographs and videos than Fairphone 5, because although it has a worse resolution back-facing camera and a smaller back camera sensor, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light photography. The Fairphone 5 and the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition have incredibly similar memory capacity for apps and games, both of them have the same 256 GB internal storage.
The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition counts with a battery performance that is very similar to the battery performance in Fairphone 5.
