The LG Q8 has a global score of 77.2, which is a bit better than Fairphone 5's 75.5 general score. LG Q8 is an a lot older cellphone than Fairphone 5, but it is somewhat thinner and extremely lighter anyway. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but LG Q8 has the newer 7.0 Nougat version while Fairphone 5 has Android 13.
LG Q8 features a bit more vivid screen than Fairphone 5, because although it has much less brightness and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 2560px resolution and a just a bit better number of pixels in each screen inch. Fairphone 5 features a little bit better storage for games and applications than LG Q8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Fairphone 5 features a bit superior processor than LG Q8, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and faster). Fairphone 5 counts with a much longer battery performance than LG Q8, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh. The LG Q8 features a little bit better camera than Fairphone 5, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lot worse resolution and a way tinier camera sensor shooting much lower quality videos and photographs, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light photography.
