Comparison review
The Galaxy A31 has a global score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than the Fairphone 5's 75.5 global score. Galaxy A31's body is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Fairphone 5, despite of the fact that it was released 3 years before. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A31 has an older 10 version while Fairphone 5 has Android 13 version.
Fairphone 5 has a much better display than Galaxy A31, because it has a just a little higher display pixels density, a little larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1224 x 2700. The Fairphone 5 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Fairphone 5 also has more RAM.
Galaxy A31 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Fairphone 5, although it has a way smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and washed colors, a tinier camera aperture and a back facing camera with a lower resolution.
