Comparison review
Galaxy A50s is much better than the Fairphone 5, with a global score of 86.6 against 75.5. The Galaxy A50s is an way older cellphone than the Fairphone 5, but Samsung was able to make it much lighter and a lot thinner anyway. Both phones we compare here use Android OS, but Galaxy A50s has the previous 10 version while Fairphone 5 has Android 13.
Fairphone 5 features a more vivid display than Galaxy A50s, because it has a bit larger screen, a bit higher 1224 x 2700 resolution and a quite higher pixel density. Fairphone 5 has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A50s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Fairphone 5 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Galaxy A50s has slightly more storage to store more apps and games than Fairphone 5, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Fairphone 5 features a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A50s, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy A50s features a greater camera than Fairphone 5, although it has a lower 48 megapixels resolution camera, a much tinier sensor offering a lot lower image quality and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light images.
