Comparison review
Galaxy A71 has a score of 87.5, which is better than Fairphone 5's global score of 75.5. Although the Galaxy A71 is noticeably older than the Fairphone 5, it's construction is extremely thinner and somewhat lighter. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy A71 has the older 11 version and Fairphone 5 has Android 13.
Fairphone 5 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Fairphone 5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Fairphone 5 has a brighter display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels density and a quite better resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels.
The Galaxy A71 has a very superior camera than Fairphone 5, because although it has a smaller camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and photos, it also counts with a lot better resolution camera and a bigger aperture to take better photography and videos in low light environments. Galaxy A71 features a slightly bigger storage to store more apps and games than Fairphone 5, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 has just a little bit longer battery life than Fairphone 5, because it has a 7% larger battery size.
