Galaxy S5 Plus is slightly better than the Fairphone 5, having a 78.1 score against 75.5. The Galaxy S5 Plus body is somewhat thinner and a lot lighter than Fairphone 5, although it was released 9 years before. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S5 Plus has newer 4.4.2 version while Fairphone 5 has Android 13, so it gives you a couple additional features.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a little more vivid screen than Fairphone 5, although it has a just a little worse count of pixels per screen inch, a lot smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Fairphone 5 has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Fairphone 5 features a bit better processor than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and 4 more cores. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Fairphone 5, although it has a way lower 16 MP resolution camera in the back, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting images or video in poorly lited situations and a much smaller back camera sensor.
The Fairphone 5 has a way better battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 4200mAh battery size.
