The Galaxy S5 Sport has an overall score of 77.8, which is just a bit better than the Fairphone 5's score of 75.5. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 Sport has 4.4.2 version while Fairphone 5 has Android 13 version, giving a couple additional features and better performance. Galaxy S5 Sport's body is just a bit thinner and way lighter than the Fairphone 5, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
The Fairphone 5 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with 4 more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit more vivid screen than Fairphone 5, although it has a quite lower count of pixels per inch in the display, a way lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a lot smaller display.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Fairphone 5, although it has a back camera with way less mega-pixels resolution, a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs or videos in low light situations and a way tinier back-facing camera sensor taking lot lower quality images.
Fairphone 5 features a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Fairphone 5 features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 4200mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
