The Xperia XZ Premium is just a bit better than the Fairphone 5, getting a general score of 79.8 against 75.5. Xperia XZ Premium's body is somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Fairphone 5, even though it was released 6 years before. Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a much better looking display than Fairphone 5, because although it has less brightness and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per display inch and a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840.

The Fairphone 5 has a very superior memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Fairphone 5 has improved battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 3230mAh.
