Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than Fairphone 5, getting a score of 82.2 against 75.5. Even though Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is better than the Fairphone 5, we must highlight that it's also a older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone. The Xperia XZ2 Premium's processing unit is very similar to Fairphone 5's processing unit, and although the Xperia XZ2 Premium has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better looking screen than Fairphone 5, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit brighter screen, a lot better pixel count per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px. The Xperia XZ2 Premium takes better photographs and videos than Fairphone 5, because although it has a back facing camera with a way lower resolution and a lot smaller back-facing camera sensor which gives a much worse photo and video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture for better captures in low-light environments.
Fairphone 5 features a better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. Fairphone 5 has better battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
