Comparison review
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a global score of 76.1, which is a bit better than the Fairphone 5's 75.5 score. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but TCL 20 Pro 5G has the older 11 version and Fairphone 5 has Android 13 version. TCL 20 Pro 5G's construction is somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner than the Fairphone 5, although it was released 2 years before.
Fairphone 5 has just a little better hardware performance than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have 8 cores, the Fairphone 5 also has more RAM. Fairphone 5 has a much better looking display than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher 1224 x 2700 resolution and a little higher pixels density.
TCL 20 Pro 5G takes way better photographs and videos than Fairphone 5, because although it has a camera in the back with a worse resolution and a lot tinier back-facing camera sensor, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and video. TCL 20 Pro 5G has a very superior memory to install games and applications than Fairphone 5, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal memory capacity, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1 TB.
TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Fairphone 5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
