Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has an overall score of 80.3, which is a little bit better than the Fairphone 5's 75.5 overall score. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is an extremely older phone than Fairphone 5, but it's lighter and thinner anyway. Fairphone 5 has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has a bit higher 1224 x 2700px resolution, a quite bigger display and a just a bit higher pixel number per screen inch.
Fairphone 5 features just a bit bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Fairphone 5 has a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Fairphone 5 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Fairphone 5, because although it has a much smaller back camera sensor capturing lot lower quality videos and pictures and a back facing camera with lesser megapixels, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture. The Fairphone 5 counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
