Comparison review

The HTC Desire has an overall score of 50.6, which is a little bit better than the GIGABYTE GSmart Alto A2's score of 46.4. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but HTC Desire has an older 2.2 version while GIGABYTE GSmart Alto A2 has Android 4.2 version. The GIGABYTE GSmart Alto A2 counts with a quite superior performance than HTC Desire, because it has a larger number of cores , more RAM and a better graphics co-processor working at 500 MHz.

HTC Desire features a little bit better display than GIGABYTE GSmart Alto A2, because although it has a bit lower 800 x 480 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels density. The GIGABYTE GSmart Alto A2 features just a bit better camera than HTC Desire. Both have the same resolution camera in the back.
