Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a general score of 74.2, which is a bit better than the Gionee Elife E8's 67.7 global score. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has the previous 4.4.4 version while Gionee Elife E8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Samsung Galaxy Alpha's body is much thinner and a lot lighter than Gionee Elife E8.
The Gionee Elife E8 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a much higher pixels quantity per display inch, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a bigger screen. Gionee Elife E8 features a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB and more internal storage.
Gionee Elife E8 counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Gionee Elife E8 also has more RAM. The Gionee Elife E8 features a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has an 89% more battery capacity.
Galaxy Alpha takes a bit better photographs and videos than Gionee Elife E8, although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with way less mega pixels resolution.
Galaxy Alpha is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also the cheapest one.
