Gionee Elife E8 Review

See other variants reviews Score: 67.7 / 100

Gionee Elife E8 is an amazing Android device released in July 2015, with an extremely powerful 2 gigahertz Octa-Core processing unit, a big size 6" display, and two cameras, a 24 mega-pixels back side camera and an 8 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Gionee justmade the Gionee Elife E8 in color 16 777 216. This phone is just 0.38 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest phone's category. This phone only has 6.46 inches long, but it's still able to fit a a 6 inches screen. Gionee did a really good job making the Gionee Elife E8 weight just 7.13 ounces. This device is a mix of Aluminum and Metal .

Gionee equipped the Gionee Elife E8 with a incredible 6-inches screen, and a resolution of 1440 x 2560 (Quad HD / 2K), making everything look completely perfect.

Gionee decided to sell this phone with a high speed Octa-Core CPU ticking at 2000 MHz, packed into a MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 system chip with a great 3 GB of RAM. This phone has an amazing 64 GB internal storage memory and an external memory slot, which allows the user to install hundreds of apps without worrying about running out of space at all.

This cellphone has wifi capability (which can be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router), 4G LTE high performance connectivity and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSPA technologies. The Gionee Elife E8 doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM services.

This phone features two cameras, a 24 mega-pixels back-facing camera and an 8 mega-pixels front facing camera. This cellphone can also capture videos in 4K 3840x2160 at 30 fps.

This phone also features a wide variety of useful characteristics like Fingerprint ID, NFC, Bluetooth (4.0, EDR ), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Gionee Elife E8 comes with a 3520 mAh long lasting Li - Polymer non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this cellphone with an extremely long battery duration. An issue to evaluate is that this cellphone's battery is non-removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to live shorter, while with this big battery you will probably replace this phone before it happens.

Gionee sells the Gionee Elife E8 for 645 dollars, which is not cheap for a phone this level. No matter if you are looking for a gamer device, want this cellphone to take many photos, want a device for work or will use this phone mostly for social networks, this cellphone is probably a very good choice for you.
