Sony Xperia SX Review

Sony Xperia SX is a high-level Android phone launched back in 2012, equipped with a medium sized 3.7" multi touch screen, a Dual-Core processing unit running at 1500 MHz, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera.

Being just 0.37" thick,this phone is very thin and stilized. This cellphone feels much lighter than what you expect from a device this size. Sony is offering this cellphone in multiple color variations: black, pink, orange and white.

This cellphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 system chip, holding an extremely powerful 1.5 gigahertz Dual-Core processor with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little low for such a great cellphone. Collaborating with graphic calculations, it also uses a 400 MHz Adreno 225 graphic processing unit. The Sony Xperia SX counts with an average 4 GB internal storage, which is adequate for the average user knowing that this phone also has a slot for an SD memory card .

Sony equipped this cellphone with a interesting 3.7" display, and a resolution of 960 x 540 , which makes everything look very nice. This display uses LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone includes wifi connectivity (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a modem), LTE 4G fast connection type and 3G fast connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Sony Xperia SX is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. This phone can also shoot videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera includes flash.

This cellphone packs a 1500 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion battery, which is quite poor for a demanding cellphone like this. According to Sony, this phone has an aproximate 280 hs stand by time and a 6 hours talk time.

The Sony Xperia SX also features a wide range of useful features as Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth (3.1), GPS Localization and Digital TV, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device is not very cheap considering it is priced $ 632, while other similar devices are offerred way cheaper than that. It doesn't matter whether you will use it as a social phone, want it to take lots of photographs, want a cellphone for work or are looking for a phone to play tons of games, you will definitely be very satisfied with it.
