Comparison review

Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.1, which is slightly better than Google Nexus 5's overall score of 74.7. Both devices in our current comparison include Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 3 has the previous 5.0 version while Google Nexus 5 has Android 5.1. Galaxy Note 3's design is incredibly heavier but just a little thinner than Google Nexus 5, and they were only released with a few months difference.

The Google Nexus 5 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy Note 3 features a much better storage to install applications and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

Galaxy Note 3 features a processing unit that is just as good as the processor in Google Nexus 5, and although the Galaxy Note 3 has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have 4 cores and a 450 MHz GPU. The Galaxy Note 3 has a much longer battery life than Google Nexus 5, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a much better camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a bigger sensor, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in low-light situations, a way higher (4K) video definition and a way higher resolution back camera.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a bit more expensive than Google Nexus 5, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
