The LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than the Google Nexus 5, getting an 82.5 score against 76. Even though the LG V30S ThinQ is heavier than the Google Nexus 5, it's thinner and also a lot newer. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the LG V30S ThinQ has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3, providing you lots of additional features and some performance improvements.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a bit better CPU than Google Nexus 5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and 4 GB more RAM. Google Nexus 5 has a bit better display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a much lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, a bit smaller screen and a just a little lower screen pixels density.

LG V30S ThinQ features much more memory to install applications and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a superior camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality, a camera with a much better 16 mega pixels resolution and a much bigger aperture for better low light photography and videos.

LG V30S ThinQ has a way better battery performance than Google Nexus 5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Nexus 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Nexus 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Nexus 5, letting go a couple specifications.
