OnePlus 8 Pro has an overall score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than Google Nexus 5's score of 76. OnePlus 8 Pro's body is extremely newer and just a bit thinner, but notably heavier than the Google Nexus 5. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Google Nexus 5, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 3168, a way larger display and a just a little more pixels per screen inch.

OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a little better hardware performance than Google Nexus 5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The OnePlus 8 Pro takes way better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a way bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in low light environments, a way bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs, a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.

OnePlus 8 Pro has a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Google Nexus 5, because it has more internal storage. The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity.

Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Nexus 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Nexus 5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy OnePlus 8 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Nexus 5, giving up some features and specs.
