The Google Nexus 5 has an overall score of 76, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)'s 75.8 general score. Even though the Google Nexus 5 is older and a little thicker than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), it's design is still extremely lighter. The Google Nexus 5 has a brighter display than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a quite better number of pixels in each display inch.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Google Nexus 5 has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.
