The Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Google Nexus 5, having a general score of 83 against 76. Galaxy Note8's construction has the same thickness than the Google Nexus 5, but it's incredibly heavier. These phones come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3.

Google Nexus 5 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080px resolution, a really smaller screen and a quite inferior number of pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a little better processing power than Google Nexus 5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM memory and more cores.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB. Galaxy Note8 takes much better photos and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a much bigger aperture, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and pictures, a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lot better 12 megapixels resolution back camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a much longer battery performance than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 43% more battery size.

Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Galaxy Note8 is also cheaper than the other phone.
