Comparison review

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is just a bit better than the Google Nexus 5, with an 80.1 score against 76. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro construction is notably newer, but heavier and way thicker than Google Nexus 5.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little bit better performance than Google Nexus 5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores. Google Nexus 5 features a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a quite smaller screen, a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080.

The Google Nexus 5 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a much smaller aperture which is not nice for low light photos and videos, a much smaller back-facing camera sensor, a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with way less megapixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Nexus 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Nexus 5. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Google Nexus 5, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
