Xperia XA2 Plus is slightly better than Google Nexus 5, having a general score of 78.6 against 76. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Xperia XA2 Plus has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3. Although the Xperia XA2 Plus is newer than the Google Nexus 5, it is somewhat thicker and much heavier.
Google Nexus 5 has a bit more vivid display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel density. The Xperia XA2 Plus takes much clearer photos and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a bigger camera aperture, a back camera with lot more mega-pixels, a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has more internal memory and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a very superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 56 percent larger battery capacity.
