Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a little bit better than the Google Nexus 5, getting a 76 score against 76. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version, so it provides the user some extra features and performance improvements. Xiaomi Mi Note 2's construction is way newer and thinner, but a lot heavier than the Google Nexus 5.
The Google Nexus 5 features a much better screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a quite better pixel density. Google Nexus 5 has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with an additional graphics processor.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 5, because it has more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a much better battery life than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 77% greater battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a slightly better camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a way better (4K) video definition, a camera with much more MP, a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and a bigger aperture.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs a little more than Google Nexus 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Nexus 5. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Google Nexus 5, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
