Google Nexus 6 has a score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than the Moto Z4's 79.8 overall score. The Google Nexus 6 is better than the Moto Z4, we must highlight that it is also a notably older, a lot thicker and heavier cellphone. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 6 has 5.1 version while Moto Z4 has Android 10.
The Google Nexus 6 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Moto Z4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and 4 less processing cores (but faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Google Nexus 6 has a brighter screen than Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a quite greater display pixels density.
Motorola Moto Z4 features a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 6, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Moto Z4 shoots way better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a bigger aperture and a much more MP camera in the back.

Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto Z4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Nexus 6, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Moto Z4, resigning some features and specifications.
