Comparison review

Google Nexus 6 has a score of 81.1, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S6 edge+'s global score of 79.3. Both of these phones come with the same Android 5.1 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect. Even being the best in this comparison, the Google Nexus 6 is an older, noticeably thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than the Galaxy S6 edge+.

Google Nexus 6 has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU and a greater number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a bit sharper screen than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a just a bit higher number of pixels in each inch of display.

The Galaxy S6 edge+ features just a bit better camera than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a camera with more mega-pixels and a larger aperture for better photography and videos in low light environments.

Google Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ have extremely similar memory for apps and games, they have the same internal memory. Google Nexus 6 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S6 edge+. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Nexus 6, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S6 edge+, letting go some features and specifications.
