Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ Review

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a top-notch Android cellphone launched back in 2015, which counts with a high speed CPU speeding at 2100 megahertz, a 5.7 inches multi touch display, and 2 cameras, a 16 MP back-facing camera and a 5 megapixels front-facing camera.

Samsung decided to equip this device with a Exynos 7 Octa 7420 system chip, which holds a high performance CPU speeding at 2100 megahertz with a great 4 GB RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ comes with a large 64 GB internal memory and while it doesn't count with a slot for external memory cards, it is still enough to install tons of applications, games, photos and videos without worrying about running out of space.

This cellphone is just 6.08" long, but it still manages to hold a 5.7 inches screen. This phone is very slim, with a thickness of just 0.27". Talking about its aspect, this cellphone is mainly made of glass; metal. Samsung made a very nice job making this phone as lightweight as 5.4 ounces. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is sold in 3 different color options, black, gray and gold.

The S6 edge+ is equipped with two cameras, a 16 megapixels back facing camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. Its back facing camera has a maximum 1.9 aperture so it can take sharp photographs even in dark environments. It is also able to shoot videos in 4K 3840x2160 at 30 fps, and slow-motion videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 120 frames per second. This cellphone also features lots of interesting features like digital image stabilization, flash, optical image stabilization, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting, geo tagging and time lapse video.

This phone includes a high-tech 5.7" display with a 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD / 2K) resolution, providing this cellphone with a very detailed image quality. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a 3000 mAh massive non-replaceable battery providing this device a great battery duration. Samsung reports a talk time of 28 hs and a stand by time of 336 hours for this cellphone. An issue to evaluate is that the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s battery isn't removable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, although with its 3000 mAh you will probably discard this cellphone before that happens.

This phone has wifi connectivity (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE-A 4G ultra fast connection type and fast 3G data connection, using HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a Nano SIM card for GSM services and it can connect to both GSM and CDMA networks.

This phone also includes plenty of cool features as Wireless charging compatibility, NFC, Bluetooth (for communication with other phones, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

This phone might not be such a good choice considering it is offerred for 439 dollars, while other similar devices cost less than that. No matter if you need a cellphone to mostly use social networks, want a device for work, love photography or want it to play lots of games, this phone is definitely the correct choice for you.
