Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s general score of 79.3. Both phones in this comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version, counting with a lot of extra features and performance optimizations. Galaxy Note8's design is noticeably newer, but extremely thicker and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+.

Galaxy S6 edge+ features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a just a bit worse display density, a little smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Galaxy Note8 has a better hardware performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 2 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores.

Galaxy S6 edge+ takes slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier sensor taking worse quality pictures and a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking images in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.

The Galaxy Note8 has a very superior storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Galaxy Note8 counts with a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit more expensive than the Galaxy S6 edge+, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
