Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6 has an overall score of 81.1, which is a little bit better than the Xperia 5's general score of 81. Even being the best we are comparing, we must tell that it's also a lot older, noticeably thicker and somewhat heavier. The Xperia 5 features just a bit better hardware performance than Google Nexus 6, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and more RAM.
Google Nexus 6 has a bit more vivid screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater pixels density and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1440px. The Xperia 5 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a back camera with a worse resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture.
Xperia 5 has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 6, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Google Nexus 6 has just a little better battery duration than Xperia 5, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs more money than the Sony Xperia 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia 5. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Google Nexus 6, else you can save some money and get the Sony Xperia 5, giving up a couple features and specifications.
