Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6P has a global score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than the HTC One M9's 77.7 score. Google Nexus 6P's design is extremely thinner but somewhat heavier than the HTC One M9, and both were only released 8 months apart. The HTC One M9 features a bit better looking display than Google Nexus 6P, although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, a bit smaller screen and a little worse display density.
HTC One M9 counts with a bit better processing unit than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory and 8 processing cores, the HTC One M9 also has a 64 bits CPU and a graphics co-processor. HTC One M9 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting lower quality photographs and a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the HTC One M9 also counts with a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
The Google Nexus 6P features a superior memory to store more apps and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Google Nexus 6P counts with better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. If you are trying to save some money, you can get HTC One M9, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
