Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6P is a little bit better than Huawei P40 Lite, getting a overall score of 80.3 against 79.5. Although the Google Nexus 6P is much older than the Huawei P40 Lite, it's design is somewhat thinner and just a little lighter. The Huawei P40 Lite features a bit faster processor than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
The Google Nexus 6P has a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Huawei P40 Lite features as much memory for games and applications as the Google Nexus 6P, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage.
Huawei P40 Lite captures slightly better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a bigger back camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and a way higher resolution camera in the back.
Huawei P40 Lite counts with improved battery lifetime than Google Nexus 6P, because it has a 22% larger battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, giving up a couple features and specifications.
