Comparison review
Google Nexus 6P has an overall score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z2 Play's global score of 77.4. Google Nexus 6P is an older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. Google Nexus 6P counts with a little more vivid display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a little bigger display.
The Moto Z2 Play counts with just a little better hardware performance than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Moto Z2 Play also has 1 GB more RAM memory. Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Google Nexus 6P shoots a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking photos and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a camera in the back with a better resolution.
Google Nexus 6P features a bit longer battery duration than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3450mAh battery size.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, letting go some features and specs.
