Comparison review
Google Nexus 6P is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a overall score of 80.3 against 76.6. The Google Nexus 6P is an older device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but it is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Google Nexus 6P counts with a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a better display pixel density.
The Google Nexus 6P features a bit more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's processor is very similar to the processor in Google Nexus 6P, both of them have 3 GB of RAM memory and 8 CPU cores.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 6P, because it has a 5020mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots much better photos and videos than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light situations, a larger sensor and a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Google Nexus 6P, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, resigning some features and specifications.
