The Google Pixel 5 is a bit better than the Google Pixel 2, with an 89 score against 81.6. The Google Pixel 5 body has the same thickness than Google Pixel 2, but it is a little heavier. Google Pixel 5 has a bit superior processing unit than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Google Pixel 5 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 2 features a bit sharper display than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch. The Google Pixel 5 has just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same resolution camera and the same (4K) video resolution, the Google Pixel 5 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rates, a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs and a larger camera aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited situations.
The Google Pixel 5's storage capacity to install applications and games is very similar to Google Pixel 2's one, both have the same internal memory capacity. The Google Pixel 5 has a superior battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 4080mAh battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel 5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 2, letting go a couple specifications.
