Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is a little bit better than Google Pixel 2, having an 86.4 score against 81.6. The Huawei P40 construction is extremely newer than Google Pixel 2's, but it is just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier. The Huawei P40 has a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P40 and Google Pixel 2 have quite similar displays, because although the Huawei P40 has a little bit worse pixel count per screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Huawei P40's memory for applications and games is just as good as the Google Pixel 2 one, they have exactly the same internal storage.
Huawei P40 counts with a superior battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 41% greater battery capacity. The Huawei P40 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light images, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back camera with a way better resolution, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and photographs.
Although Huawei P40 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei P40, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2, letting go some features and specifications.
